The Dona Ana County Sheriff's Department on Thursday announced details for a graffiti cleanup Saturday and Sunday in Anthony, N.M.

The project is open to volunteers, who only need to bring a paint brush or roller. Other supplies and food will be provided. Volunteers can meet at 7 a.m. behind the sheriff's office at 865 Anthony Drive.

The effort will continue until 3 p.m. each day. Volunteers can win raffled tickets to Wet 'n' Wild Water World and Cinemark movie theaters.

The initiative is in response to street gang violence that has claimed the lives of two teens since May in the community.
